I’m wondering if any of your organizations have defined a limitation/standard of how many documents one personcan manage. Thanks!
How many documents should 1 person manage?
Hi @Sarah Winkel - Not sure if others responded, but I’d say it depends on a few factors: What are the owner’s responsibilities? VP or higher often have limited time.’ Do you have an organized review schedule? If you spread out documents over time or group to align with routine work/meetings, more documents could be managed. How complex are the documents? A complex plan or policy with detailed proceduresversus a short policy makes a difference. In general, over 25 documents/year for an individual owner is a reasonable load, but again, it depends on the persons role, schedule, and document complexity.

Hi! We have users that have well over 100 policies and SWIs that they own, and some have fewer than 20. We have identified managers and above as owners so, I it depends on the department and scope of work. For example, may of our clinical areas have dozens where some areas of finance department might have less than 10 documents.
